Studio break in September

Starting September 1st (I'm writing this in 2026), I'm taking a break from packing and shipping originals. I'm having surgery coming up in a couple of weeks, and I need real time to rest and recover without rushing packages out the door, doctor's orders.

The print shop side of things isn't affected, prints will keep shipping right on schedule throughout. But originals, the one-of-a-kind pieces, won't ship again until October.

If you've been eyeing a particular piece, or thinking about picking one up as a gift, now's a great time. Once September hits, they're paused until I'm back.

Surgery details for those that like details like I do! I'm having spine surgery, an ACDF, a fusion of C5/C6 in my neck. This all came up pretty quickly over summer, so I'm eager to just get on with it and get recovery going. I do imagine myself like Matisse drawing on the wall from his bed and working on the paper cut outs.
